  1. 50p an hour....sounds great...how much is a day saver for the local transport....about £2.50 a day...thats only 5 hours work to earn the right to travel by bus everyday. the means you will have 3 x 50p for your self...but only if you do not require any food or drink whilst working.
  2. Excellent replies from all three. There we have it in a nutshell.....no rhyme or reason....it just is. Love it
  3. Ah silly me...it's just that this thread is in the House prices and economy section and judging by your contributions to the forum I mistook you for economist. By the way what your argument for further price drops in property? obviously it will have nothing to do with the economy...but I would like you to tell me
  4. No, don't. You will make a fool of yourself and this place needs all the help it can get. Not some lame ass fool who thinks he's an economist. stay out of things you know nothing about.
  5. scared of the truth is my guess. ah well, you do not know what your mising
  6. Who are you Why are you divulging all this information. Please remain on topic or I will alert an administrator to your ramblings. Whats you thoughts on HPI news released today?
  7. Yes...It's the same thing. try letting the loo seat fall on it....I heard that can be joyfull With regards to how the press report...most on here were happy to applaud the presentation and content when the figures were on the slide...why not now?...have they turned into evil hacks now with an agenda based on HPI?
  8. You all have selective memory syndrome. When all the rags were full of doom and gloom and house prices were crashing last year...everyone was talking about how good it was and providing us with links to the articles written by these rags so you could masturbate over them. Next up was how the nationwide housprice data was spot on when it was reporting falls. Soon as we get some HPI the nationwide data is shit and the media has it in for us...lol Clowns
  9. That's got to be the funniest reply ever. Im thinking of a sound that describes what happened here..........I got it *Whoooooosh!* Just to clarify...the OP was saying that you leant the money to Gormless = Gordon Brown
  10. What are you saving for? get it spent you thrifty feckers. You and your like a ruining this recovery
  11. yeah! sure you did. How about you go and put your head in that oven? Rent = dead money...unrecoverable. at least if you buy you will own your home one day...the rate half the fools on here are going there will be even more BTL because your are all funding someones portfolio....you feed the fire that you want to extinguish. For evey BTL that gets bought outright...it creates at least 3 more. You are creating the monster
  12. I think we may see a double dip. these figures can be revised up or down....they may well be revised to suit agendas...but unless they keep printing and subsidising, based on the figures out today we are headed striaght back into recession. Another miserable year ahead....with no real growth.
  13. 30 year and above mortgages depending on what age you are...able to borrow more money. wait till we get proper lending gets going again...this will be the new liar loan. Most people have no intention of working till the age of 70 but that will not stop them saying that's what they will do....
  14. lol......best post so far on this abortion of a thread.
  15. That's what I thought. It means you will laugh, cry and convulse many many times in the comming months and years
  16. Prof......there are thousands of cheap properties out there if anybody wants one.....there are thousands are more expspensive ones too I would even say there are some that are clearly undervalued and others that are clearly over valued.....my point is you will pay more for the more desirable and the opposite for the less desirable. My point! Take what you can afford or simply rent in an area you can not afford to buy in. It's the same with cars, food, hollidays. Not eveyone can afford a Ferrari or regularly eat out in the finest resturants....or travel round the world for 3 months of the year. The man who can't afford a Ferrari may rent one for a week or buy a 2nd hand RX8. rather than eat at the finest returants...call a chinese take away once a month as a treat.......no chance of traveling around the world? ... visit the nearest caravan park and take the weight of your feet on one of those little sofa bed things. Life is never easy and nor should it be, you get out what you put in.......Not got enough? Get your finger out then!. or accept the fact that You can only pish with **** you were given.
  17. Like I said...I think most are out for themselves and cry wolf. You seem like a nice enough and reasonable chap. Good luck with all you do
  18. Not that funny if you have to remortgage your property and you have a paid of 60% of your mortgage.
  19. Now you are getting somewhere. This is like QE...they are giving it away lol Helicopter styleeee!
  20. Me/ takes a deep breath.... ok I am calm. 90% of posters on here are as bad as anyone who bought for profit imo. They all want to buy for the same reasons...they want it cheaper, the other camp were willing to pay more in order to make more. There is no difference. HPC wants a cheap home HPI does not care as long as it appreciates in value.......both make money at the end of day...one saves the other earns.
