Did I say I wasn't in the same generation? I think not! You most certainly are in it, up to your 1,542 post neck.
I've never seen a thread moved off-topic so fast. Maybe the truth does hurt.
You're in the first generation of people who wasted their lives on the Internet, posting meaningless tosh or making meaningless "friends" or listening to unsubstantiated junk on a who-gives-a-damn Forum. I couldn't agree more with you. Now pull yourself together man; dust yourself off and go and do something constructive. Like you should have done a long time ago!
I've asked this before on a similar thread a couple of months ago on HPC and had one interesting reply. I agree with this statement. However; does this apply to Managers, i.e. Test Managers/Development managers as they are kind of hybrid: technical skills + people skills. Most Indians that I am aware of in IT are "yes men" but certainly not managers. Do you think that the higher end development roles slash management roles will also be outsourced or are these roles safer? Any more anecdotes on this greatly appreciated.
Super Ted what kind of ICT role was it? Was it support or development?
If development did you have any "working visa" applications and if so what %age?
What a crap call. Storming forwards and it's not even afternoon yet. I can't envisage the opportunity cost of most HPCers in the last few months who are awaiting armageddon.
[edit: personal attack against armageddon hpc member removed]
You might get more replies and views if you'd at least put a subtopic about what this thread was about. It's annoying and time consuming going in blind.
Come on in! I've pitched some tents up though as I believe we may be touching bottom for some time.
Some bottoms have been missed though. India's & China's bottom were touched some time ago (bottoms I'm pleased I had the courage to ride).
What amazes me most is not the post but that people still think this kind of stuff is new. This is old news. Points based system for Social Housing has been around as long as Councils have been housing people. It's wrong and hopefuly one day it will change but don't hold your breath. Next topic please.
You're right. I've put some trades in with stop-loss but I wish I had a live feed and was doing it full-time. What do you think the support level is?
"and if so, whats the driving force ???"
Good data comming in from America is pushing this DOW tracker higher I think.
"Moolah? My you are end.... "
It hadn't been replied to for 24 hours. I think there's good valule out there if you look.
Another good day shaping up on the markets and what a surprise this thread lurking on page 4 again. Oil up, Dow Futures up, Intel up. More easy moolah. Sometimes the opportunity cost of being a perma-bear is quite high.
I thought I might find this post hiding away on page 3 or 4. Well the DJIA finished it's strongest gain in weeks and the FTSE is storming up again nicely this morning lead by the banks and miners. Here's to some good earnings and hopefully some more easy moolah.
Posted right at the peak too.
"they wont fall... to many rented out to poles/chechs etc..
so prices will go up..."
This guy needs a spellcheck as he can't spell Czech
