  1. Nice. Unfortunately, things are different here (SE Berks) prices have not only remained stubborn but increased since the low of jan 2009. Anything good that comes up sells quickly in the village. Recently a small 2 bed bungalow went on for £300k, big plot, sold for £385. Waiting is costing me in increasing prices and rent - I will need a mortgage so am only kicking that can down the road and getting much older will limit availability - as would an extra child
  2. Balance? Being able to see both sides of the coin? Credibility? People stop listening to someone that only has one thing to say regardless- ask realistbear
  3. I am 4 years in this one. The fundamentals are a mess, as is the economy of the world but the goobermint is going to do everything in their power to prop up prices. They cant do it forever but they can do it for longer than I want to wait. £1200 a month would be better going towards getting rid of a mortgage, especially whilst inflation will eat away at it and the ptb are on my side. That said, if this place doesnt tick all the boxes and is the right price then I will go back to watching and waiting, I am in no rush.
  4. I watched those being built as I passed by everyday and always wondered who the hell would want to live there.
  5. I think the problem is that they dont know where it is stashed lol
  6. Fictional - probably twice as much still at the bottom of mine shafts and lakes hidden during the war.
  7. Not too surprising that the telegraph ran it, everyone else is, the internet is flooded with this prediction. I like this bit though... "This forecast is based entirely using technical & cyclical analysis and is in keeping with the mathematical form displayed so far in the bull run that has taken Silver from $8 an ounce in 2008 to its current price of $32 an ounce – having hit $50 an ounce in 2011" No real acknowledgement of the volatility or that silver Dived from $50 overnight and managed to make it back to $26 in December. I wonder if this guy called it right back then or if too many listened to the wild bullishness and bought in on the way up.
  8. The rspca dont need your cash mate http://www.rspca.org.uk/ImageLocator/LocateAsset?asset=document&assetId=1232729540914&mode=prd
  9. Probably a lot more now that they have all of the schools on board
  10. Yes, fallen to 20% would have been far less surprising than fallen by 20%. I wonder how much of it is for tax purposes.
  11. What amazes me is that they are still getting the 80%. Maybe people are waking up to the fact that most of the larger charities earn far more in interest a year than a person can working a full time job.
  12. hmmm, not sure but sounds fishy. He has the bars in a safe deposit box. Local bullion dealers will give him close to spot if they pay cash but he wants bank transfer and apparently they will only offer 15% below spot for bank payment. He wants bank transfer up front into a business acct. Wont take cash. The last bar was £6k below spot and thats before ebay take their listing and final value fees from him. I cant see why he wouldnt do it safely and hassle free with a bullion dealer - cant see dealers paying that much below spot either tbh
  13. dude has another kilo bar for sale - personally I wouldnt risk buying one from him for half the spot price. Not unless I can collect and test it first. Gonna message him, lol, shall post responses lets see what he says "Hi there, if i win this auction will it be possible to meet and test the bar? It seems to be the same picture as one that you have already sold. The cost is considerable but I am quite happy to hand you the cash first if you will remain present whilst I test it and possibly cut it in half.
  14. Dude, knock off the copy and paste, add some informed opinion. Do u trade? insights into moves? opinions about moves or sizes or length or anything? No one here will disagree with your sentiment. But, no one can have much to do with a one sided carpet bomber. I am longterm bullish but I trade, I trade both ways because I see that money is made both ways - the downs are blatant at some point. Only fools that can never be trusted never acknowledge the downturns and reasons.
  15. Not really. It is easier to make a 1oz+ bar from brass and silver plate it then it is to make something like jewellry etc and hallmark it.
  16. Even their special prices are sh1t, wouldnt bother with them at all. Use either of the above or hatton garden metals. Elm investments is good if you want 10 or more.
  17. try these - presidential election now over, greece running out of options and also golds seasonality
  18. since feebay couldnt give a rats ass about sellers flogging fakes, if anyone has a few spare minutes on ebay you can do something useful. Check out the feedback of the tools selling the fakes, then click on the names of the poor fools that got sucked in and message them to tell them that they bought a silver plated fake. Eventually feebay will have to react after the buyers all go to paypoo for a refund
  19. Is Asheron the anti - realist bear? I see a trend, carpet bombing with copy and paste never to return to a thread once started, lmao
