It'll be .75 or 1%.
0.5% is off the table now. The markets would flip if they go for 0.5 with no meeting in October.
If they do 0.5%, they are intentionally trying to sink GBP.
Like I say, I like them. They were quick to put up rates to match the competition unlike chase but looking at other forums, I'm not alone on the fraud flags. Still, worth a bit of "effort".
I like zopa. HSBC clearly hate them. They froze my account when I tried to transfer to them and didn't reinstate for 8 days. Also the "work around" to transfer to the account when it's not the nominated account is questionable. Still 2.10% 31 days notice is pretty decent.
Chase have a great app but it doesn't make up for the fact other less gloss accounts are paying nearly 50% more interest easy access. They got a big influx of customers and didn't keep up.
