  1. Yep, Dacia Duster and Sandero coming shortly to the UK. Fantastic cars for the money - and already taken a huge market share across europe. Dacia is owned by Renault - who also have big stakes in Nissan, Lada (aztovaz) and Samsung Motors. Although Renault are struggling in Europe, and the UK in particular, they do have big growth outside of Europe with these other brands.
  2. 42, work for a car manufacturer as a Business to Business Manager. Earn 45k + bonus (maybe 4k). 3 kids between me and mrs. 20, 18 and 15. Bought a shared ownership house in 1995 (43k) and sold in 2003 (107k - but only get half the profit). Moved into a ex council 3 bed (now 4)(143k) in 2003 with new g/f (now wife), She sold her shared ownership house and moved in with me. House now 'worth' 170k - have a 75k mortgage and some debt that has to go. Am fortunate that job comes with a couple of cars - so outgoings are small. Have a couple of motorbikes that are my passion. Looking forward to house prices coming down - a 50% drop would be fine in my book.
  3. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/3741881/Twitter-calls-spur-on-riot-clean-up.html "They later moved after being told they could not help clean up the station due to health and safety fears. Officers had told the volunteers there was too much broken glass around. They are now planning to help out in nearby side streets that have not been cordoned off"
  4. I just fixed with my existing mortgage supplier, Santander. Was on the SVR (4.24) after being on a tracker for 2 years and was quite pleased to be offered 4.6% with no fees for a 5 year fixed.

  6. Like you saying on the other thread that you pay to park in a council car park, even though you disapprove of the charging. Not very consistent, are you?
  7. Build a big feck off wall around injins self built house. Every time he wants to get out, he needs to dismantle your wall, and of course, according to his own logic, rebuild it every time he leaves. Perfect injin.
  8. Nope. I want to sit in the sun. I need to make sure there is food in the fridge.
  9. Of course he is correct, if you define things the way he does. By this logic, I can sit in the sun for the next week as its what I want to do its 100% efficient. Brilliant. Is it good use of my time? When there is no food in the house, the roof leaks, the washing machine is broken the freezer is on the blink? Well, if its 100% efficient, it MUST be a good use of my time, right? Coz I chose to do it. Practically, maybe I should get off my **** and get some food adn fix the roof, the washing machine and the freezer?
  10. More idealist claptrap. Good to know things dont change around here though.
  11. And therefore when the tories come to power, the BBC will be become the propoganda arm of the tories?
  12. Believe my when I say Injin, my question was enirely rhetorical.
  13. Not when you know the next door neighbour in the potential new house.
