What do you mean by 'even Jesus'? Are you implying that He was a HPI advocate? -
He's so demonised that I bet more of the British public know of him than can tell you who the British PM is.

Uk Real Wages 5-Year Rate. Scatter Chart From Edmund Conway

That just about sums up the attitude of many of my (boomer) generation when it comes to discussing problems faced by younger people. "I worked hard and bought my first house when I was only a foetus - today's young don't know they've been born," etc. -

Tesco Finest Range To Extend To Housing...
1929crash replied to John The Pessimist's topic in House prices and the economy
Bullying councils does not take as much skill as that required for building houses. -
Where is the evidence that Russia is to blame? We have assertions from the same people who talked of WMDs in Iraq and 'Assad gassed his own people' - both claims now known to be false. And are you not a little bit ashamed of yourselves for falling for the 'RT journalist resigns in protest' story - again, just a couple of months after the last crisis involving Russia? It's straight out of the CIA/MI6 playbook.
-
And 'Assad gassed his own people' - one year anniversary of that coming up soon.

But if you take previous lows there was a reason for a bounce back. For example - late 1920s/inter war low - new industries and new technology offsetting coal and steel decline; similar thing in the early 1980s - but what now? -
Hang on! I object to your use of the term 'conspiracy theory.' If you are saying that the separatists did it, would that not be a 'conspiracy theory?' Or is your ****-eyed definition of a 'conspiracy theory' only meant to include ideas that run counter to what appear on the British State Broadcasting Corporation? How can the black boxes have been grabbed by Moscow supporters if Kiev forces have control of the aircraft wreckage?

And 23 Americans killed - excuse for US deployment in Donetsk? http://washington.cbslocal.com/2014/07/17/ukraine-adviser-malaysian-airlines-jet-shot-down-by-missile-near-ukraine-russia-border/

I did - Porky's remarks sounded like what the Germans said before they destroyed Lidice. Anyway, potential false flag with Malaysian flight downed on Ukraine/Russia border.
-
Hopefully, you are right since this is a conflict that potentially involves nuclear weapons. However, the news from east Ukraine in the last few weeks has been all bad. And the western media has been ignoring remarks like Yatsenuk's description of Russian ethnics as 'sub-human, and Poroshenko's Nazi-like boast that 100 civilians would die for every one of the Ukrainian forces killed.

Uk Unemployment Falls To 2.12M

The number of times the method of counting the unemployed has changed means that it is difficult if not impossible to compare 2014 with 1975. I suspect that the the level of unemployment is nearer 3 million than 2 million because of factors such as exclusions from the count due to benefit sanctions, numbers on sickness etc. In the US if the methodology of 1994 was used today, the jobless rate would be somewhere near 25% instead of the less than 9% the official stats record.
