  1. Could this be the article you referred to from 2002? http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1169541
  2. I was particularly puzzled by the message that everyone deserves to have a brand new mobile phone, the latest computer game and a fancy new hoover for xmas. Apparently the poorer person has to find 2nd hand items from places like ebay - how awful!
  3. Why not overpay the mortgage and get taxed at 0%?
  4. This is interesting, with a capped tracker at 3.99% Nationwide are indicating that they don't expect boe rates to rise very much over the next 2yrs.
  5. Cripes, now down to only 2488 products - goodbye trackers!
  6. I took mine out [of icici] on Friday and it arrived on Tuesday. The site says it takes 3 working days, perhaps they're just snowed under with withdrawal requests? Edited for clarity.
  7. Whilst I don't agree with all of Mr Pauls politics, he says it like it is and that's worth a heck of a lot in a politician.
  8. Not every scientist has to look for a cure for cancer, these guys are looking for large primes to aid in cryptography. What a "typical" comment from someone who has zero understanding of the subject they are criticising.
  9. Not only that but I fear that the easiest way to get alcohol or into a nightclub is to flash your "non mandatory" (leopardskin) ID card to prove your age. A sure fire way to get the youngsters on board. (Edited to add "leopardskin" )
  10. The "I have nothing to hide" argument is invalid - we have much to protect, especially when it comes to our own sensitive data. If anyone's interested the download and read this article, I found it rather interesting: 'I've Got Nothing to Hide' and Other Misunderstandings of Privacy
  11. This is all terribly exciting, I've enjoyed the past 2 days of HPC forums
  12. I thought that the general opinion on this forum was that interest rates were going to increase next year - does this indicate that KPMG are perhaps predicting deflation?
  13. Babelfish translation: http://babelfish.yahoo.com/translate_url?d...TrUrl=Translate It almost makes some sense.....
