  1. You're right, Paulsgrove is a sh1t hole. Remeber all the paedophile riots 10 years ago? Well this is where it happened! The only people who live here are people from families who live/born there, no one ever moves in!
  2. Thats reall good to know - have you been on the apprentice recently???
  3. This is my point exactly - I'm just lucky that I invested in two kids, lol.
  4. Absolutely, I dont feel like a failure, not at all, I have my justifications! And sitting on my a***e do nothing, letting the government support me is no more than what the housing market and the banks have been receiving! And when I said sad, I ment a sad state of affairs for this country, me as an individual couldn't give a sh1t - not anymore!
  5. I think I would remove the lightbulbs before flattening the whole terrace!
  6. I agree with this, dont know where it's going, or if it will actually go anywhere, but what I do know is that I dont give a sh1t anymore! I'm off to the Med on holiday next week with the family to spend the last of my savings, and then I'm coming home to a job that's destind to be made redundant in a few months time (we supply electric heating to new build flats!) and I'm the only one in the company who can see - surprising how blind people are to whats going on. Anyway, I owe no-one a penny, rent privatley, pay my own way for me, the other half and the two kids (apart from the pathetic tax credits which are supposed to help with a £800pcm rent!), pay all the associated costs of running a car and anything else that comes with living in this country. I'm now at the point where it all seems so futile, no future, no justifications, and to be honest coudn't give a sh1t if I end up sitting on my **** doing nothing for everything I've got now less a couple of hundred quid a month free cash. If you cant beat em, join em - and thats exactly what I intend to do! The funny thing is, even though everything is going up, I do feel much richer nowadays knowing that alot of people will be joining me - very sad eh?
  7. Prices are sticking because people dont really need to sell, if they did, prices would drop - simple!
  8. It's all a load of ****** at the end of the day, surely people on here are clever enough to realise you are paying for the marketing of the product and their high (undeserved) profit margin and not the quality of it. And like all those stupid FTBs, all the time you're willing to pay outrageous amounts of money for something that cost no more, you cant expect them to charge you more than what it's wort All sounds so familar eh?
  9. Spoke to a collegue in work today, his daughter works for Haifax and is currently on maternity leave, apparently nothing is moving, she is earning more money on maternity leave than her collegues. She can see big job losses in the mortgage sector - lets hope she's right! btw, haven't mentioned my VIs - dont bite the hand that feeds you!!
  10. we get this crap all the time, nothing new.
  11. 'as a tenant I'd find your property much more attractive if you did get rid of the storage heaters. They have a reputation for being expensive and inadequate -- not something you want for a property in the north of Scotland!' As a tenant you may prefer gas central heating, cheaper unit cost and more controllable, however, as a landlord keeping the current total heat system will have no cost now to change, nor would their be any annual gas inspections which come with a cost; this saving could be passed on to the tenant. Also, one thing you may want to note is that the cost of energy is rising sharply, however, on a total heat tariff, the cost only goes up at a rate of 30% for each unit, so if the cost of one unit went up by 10p in 5 years time, you would only pay an extra 3p per stored kW. I have experiances with both gas and total heat, and I believe over a period of time electric is a much cheaper option, but it really does come down to utilizing as much storage heat as possible. The real key is insulating the property as best as possible, wouldn't cost nowhere near £4,000 and you can apply for grants too! Note, the reason why people think storage heaters are inadequate is because they dont turn them on; they dont realise that they operate on an off peak tariff!
  12. I like that fact that first time buyers are now classified as risky borrowers, surley this implies negative equity from the date of purchase?
  13. You never look at things financially, if finance isn't a problem. Everbody is in their own financial position. Personally I think to lose thousansds of pounds no matter how sound my finances are, is just plain stupid! Sounds like your friend must have shit loads of money, either that, or shit for brains.
  14. Good on ya! I feel exactly the same way, though I have been treated ok(ish) when it comes to repairs, i just feel that the LA have got you over a barrell and fuk ya from every angle whenever possible, so like you i seek revenge. However, unlike you I wont be carrying out a full on attack on the property, I'll be attacking the office with some very nasty smells over a period of time; which the length of will depend on how much they attack my deposit when I leave - bturds
  15. I provide heating designs for these new builds and what people dont realise is that the affordable housing schemes have better heating systems with lower running costs than those sold privately, so not only do you pay to live next to the 'pro-claimers' you also pay more than them to live in it! Its all because the government realise that they may not be able to afford the high energy bills, poor benefit claiming scummers!
  16. would you sh1t in the woods during winter with no toilet roll?
  17. And what about the current number of prisoners at a record high, surely these help with their figures?
  18. Cant belileve I got sucked into that one, mind you I've been off work all day through illness.
  19. Are you for real? Would you care to talk to some friends of mine who have recently purchased their first house and now face losing all of their and parents savings because people like you advise them to! What advice to you have now?
  20. I really think we should posting (sticking to shop fronts) these shops, titled - "Another one bites the house price crash dust"
  21. Like I said before, its not about the cost of the house itself, its about everybody's associated costs of buying a house. Of course the house itself doesn't go up/down in value, but the price of one does based on affordability and demand, therefore the sheeple relate this to the price of the house itself. This why I think your post is pointless, because no one cares about the utility cost.
  22. well then it would be worth £1,000,000! F*** house prices!
  23. What a pointless post! Obvioulsy the price of the house doesn't drop, it's about the cost of the debt to purchase it. Nobody is actually worried about the price of the house, what people are worried about is me moving in next door in a couple of years to a house they purchased last year, with me having a mortgage half the size of theirs. Any price for any item is based on affordabilty and demand, you just have to look at the crap sold on ebay to prove that! Oh, and btw, where did you get your 2p cost for a coca cola bottle? I could definatley afford one, but would i f*** buy one!
