  6. I saw that and wondered if government creditors would like to be repaid in monopoly money?
  7. The countless paid shills, vested interests, "experts" and morons given unchallenged air time to spout tripe on the news, question time and newsnight.
  8. No payrise here an no bonus this year. Considering my personal rate of inflation is around 9%, I will be further reducing discretionary spending in order to try and make my savings and investments tread water or increase in real terms. However this leaves me with less money to spend into the miracle economy every month. The more I feel fcuked over by TPTB the further my discretionary spending retrenches.
  9. Matches my feelings on where we are currently, a quite long period of biflation followed by a period of sustained inflation stealing from the unwary. However I still have a nagging little deflationary voice in my head that points to Japan and tries to confuse my thoughts* However I have recently been reading about Chinese and Indian current inflation, and pondering the effects it may have on the UK. *NB this is easily done.
  10. Can $hitibank offset these losses against any tax liable on future profits (yet to materialise)
  11. I have been reading a few articles on inflation in India over the past week or so. Indian bond yeilds up on inflation outlook Indian food prices jump 20% India’s Food-Price Inflation Holds Near 11-Year High However it appears in calculating the weekly Price Index used to measure food inflation of 435 different goods in India, the Indian government use obfuscation and a sleight of hand that Gordon Brown would be proud of. The rates used by the government are wholesale prices applicable to bulk orders far beyond what the average Indian could afford, transport, store or use before it went off. The price rises paid by ordinary citizens in shops and markets are far, far higher than the official figures.

  14. This clear sign of renewed deflation should spur Gordenron to push for just one more, last one I promise £10 billion extension to QE. In order to lock in the recovery and fight the continued deflation we are seeing.
  15. How many "experts" will be "shocked" or "surprised" by this news?
  16. The people's flag is deepest red, It shrouded oft our martyred dead, And ere their limbs grew stiff and cold, Their hearts' blood dyed its ev'ry fold. Then raise the scarlet standard high. Within its shade we'll live and die, Though cowards flinch and traitors sneer, We'll keep the red flag flying here. Look 'round, the Frenchman loves its blaze, The sturdy German chants its praise, In Moscow's vaults its hymns are sung Chicago swells the surging throng. Then raise the scarlet standard high. Within its shade we'll live and die, Though cowards flinch and traitors sneer, We'll keep the red flag flying here. It waved above our infant might, When all ahead seemed dark as night; It witnessed many a deed and vow, We must not change its colour now. Then raise the scarlet standard high. Within its shade we'll live and die, Though cowards flinch and traitors sneer, We'll keep the red flag flying here. It well recalls the triumphs past, It gives the hope of peace at last; The banner bright, the symbol plain, Of human right and human gain. Then raise the scarlet standard high. Within its shade we'll live and die, Though cowards flinch and traitors sneer, We'll keep the red flag flying here. It suits today the weak and base, Whose minds are fixed on pelf and place To cringe before the rich man's frown, And haul the sacred emblem down. Then raise the scarlet standard high. Within its shade we'll live and die, Though cowards flinch and traitors sneer, We'll keep the red flag flying here. With heads uncovered swear we all To bear it onward till we fall; Come dungeons dark or gallows grim, This song shall be our parting hymn. Then raise the scarlet standard high. Within its shade we'll live and die, Though cowards flinch and traitors sneer, We'll keep the red flag flying here.
