  1. Another nail in the coffin of the pub trade.
  2. So will anyone challenge him that the VAT cut contributed towards the "deflation" he and his cronies have been so keen to "fight"
  3. I think it was announced last year for pensioners only. Now it has been extended to include everyone. Is it not age discrimination to give one particular age band preferential treatment / terms over others?

  7. Some townies who moved in to a house down the road from my cousins farm complained about the noise made by his dairy herd as they are walked down the road to be milked. They also demanded he put up deer fencing in the fields that back on to their garden to stop deer going from his fields / woods in to their garden and eating their plants.
  8. No you will be accused of emitting excess CO2 by breathing out more than the permitted 15 times a minute. A £250 climate change levy will be automatically deducted from the bank account the government forced the bank to give you. The removal of the £250 climate change levy for breaching the EU permitted persons CO2 emissions code is added to the inflation calculation by the ONS. As you now have £250 less in your government approved bank account this is a sign of deflation. In order to fight this deflation interest rates must be cut further and the government embark on a fresh round of money printing to support government bond issuance.
  9. Yes, the ONS are adding walking to the inflation basket and removing the cost of fuel and public transport.
  10. No house "values" splashed ostentatiously through the article? Good job I was seated while reading it!
  11. I can see it happening personally. "Cash" phased out under the guise of preventing terrorism / tax avoidance / criminal activity/ restoring confidence or stability yadda yadda yadda. All payments to be made electronically and stored / monitored in a huge database yet to be set up by Crapita. For your own good to prevent terrorists, drug dealers, benefits cheats, tax evaders another financial crisis etc. Using other commodities to replace cash will be against the law and anyone suspected of doing so will feel the wrath of the amended POCA, money laundering and terrorist acts. CGT exemption for Brits and sovereigns removed in an attempt to flush out anyone hoarding anything that could be used to replace physical cash in transactions.
  12. The close season applies on the rivers, drains and streams I fish. Roughly half the stillwaters I fish are open during the closed season.
