Noel Edmonds on BBC News this a.m. I always thought he was a bit of a pretty boy airhead but after an interview on the Beeb this morning, he has soared in my estimation. Basically, politicians have had their day; they have had their chance and look at the mess they have got us into. This is no longer the country it was. It's time for non-politicians to take the reins. He is pushing sixty, says he has always been a law abiding citizen but is now pretty sure he breaks some law or other each day because you can't keep up with them all anymore. BBC used to be a fine organisation but now they are bullies - as in "we know where you are - it's all in the database". As a result, he has stopped paying his TV licence and nobody has come knocking on his door yet. To say that on live TV is quite something. He spoke with what seemed like genuine passion and principle about what is going on in this country. I have not heard any celebrity talk in this way on TV. It is quite an eye opener if anyone can find the link to it. A damning indictment on Auntie Beeb with boxing gloves.
