  1. Now you're just being silly and argumentative. Those posts that you have cleverly dug up, were made in May. Since then, as I have repeatedly told you, I have decided not to discuss my vaccination status on this forum. Whether I am currently vaccinated against Covid, or otherwise, is none of your business so will you please stop stating or implying that I am not vaccinated because that is something that only I know.
  2. I have made it quite clear that my personal vaccination status is private so stop trying to put words into my mouth! Now, if you've forgotten the question as to how many jabs a year you consider acceptable, here it is again, and to limit the clever dick answers, I mean for the average person, which excludes diabetics. As for retired folk "popping down to the GP every few weeks" for a jab, ye Gods, what sort of life is that?
  3. Really, my vaccination status is private and none of your business. Now, will you answer the question or will you continue to emulate the behaviour of BJ by refusing to answer direct questions.
  4. Will we end up with a "Health by jab" (good three word slogan that) system where the NHS only exists to repair physical damage, everything else being taken care of by genetic modification via monthly jab?
  5. This year alone it looks like four at least. Covid 1, Covid 2, Covid booster, flu and God knows what else. These days you can't turn on the news without hearing about another new jab, for this or that, in the pipeline. They've really got the bit between their teeth, all for our own good of course, but do you really want to be going for a jab every two months for the rest of you life? Because I sure as hell don't.
  6. And the answer is? 3, 4, 5, 6, 7...........20, more? When does it go beyond being a minor inconvenience? As for "Let them make up their own mind", that's rich coming from you.
  7. How many jabs a year would you consider acceptable?
  8. It's getting crazy on the TV news today. Massive push, Covid jabs, flu jabs, you name it we must have it, to protect the NHS. I always thought that the NHS was there to protect us.
  9. So, anyone who doesn't trust the vaccine is a retard . Now we know where you stand, as if we didn't already.
  10. Not sure what I'll do when they end, but with cash I can be nimble. Yes, the BJ government is going for inflation which they call "levelling up". I have a little house which I bought with some of my "cash pile" in 2017 and that's all the property I want, a roof over my head. Currency crash in 10 years? Possibly, but the kids are well set up and I probably won't be around to enjoy it.
  11. I still have some long term fixed rate accounts. £85K worth £45K? if they print.... of course, but at least it's not a 100% loss and what is everything else worth?
  12. Don't forget that us retired folk are risk averse because we don't want to have to go back to work to replace any losses. My current average interest rate is about 2%, average over my retirement years? Probably 4 or 5%. As long as the "any old share" wasn't in a company that went tits up, and knowing my luck with shares it would have been. I think the 85K is as safe as anything. The government will just print to cover.
  13. Covid jabs, without then no one will survive, or so they would have us believe.
  14. https://www.housepricecrash.co.uk/forum/index.php?/topic/235722-coronavirus-potential-black-swan/&do=findComment&comment=1103788544 https://www.housepricecrash.co.uk/forum/index.php?/topic/235722-coronavirus-potential-black-swan/&do=findComment&comment=1103788626 People replied to the latter whilst disregarding the former.
  15. Ah yes..... The nine most terrifying words in the English language are "I'm from the government, and I'm here to help."
  16. No, but nearly, it's moved upstairs. To be safe I'm keeping the new one tuned to France 24 who aren't showing the Tory conference. I just flicked over to Sky News, and straight back because the smirking Ugli Patel was receiving a standing ovation from her adoring fans 🤮.
  17. Not a good time to be in a minority group. Who will be persecuted this time...... the unvaccinated?
  18. Some good news for once. About time someone stuck it to BJ and his cronies. Mind you, he'll be on all the news channels, surrounded by Union Flags and spouting his usual pseudo fascist three word rhetoric, to anyone willing to listen. Which won't be me because I have a new 85" TV and want to keep it in one piece.
  19. Just goes to show that sometimes even the BBC gets it right.
