There is a story in the Daily Mirror reporting the Derbyshire Building Society is going to be the first casualty of the credit crunch. The Yorksihire Bank is the likely new owner. Its a good job i spread my saving from derbyshire to other banks last month. Hopefully this will mean a nice windfall for us account holders?

Just been watching Property Ladder on Ch4, It was a reapeat from 2005. Looks like they are trying to get people back in the house buying mood by showing people making 200k in 4 months. Then after it had finished there was an advert for Relocation Relocation.. :angry: things must be bad if they are showing re-runs.. that last property ladderseries wasnt as proffitable as in 2005 was it !!

I have just seen an advert for a series called "The Truth About Property" starting on BBC2 tuesday at 8pm.. beats the usual property boom porn. I think we are seeing a real change of sentiment from the BBC.
