  1. The best way to get rid of Labour is for people who belong to Unions to stop paying any political donations to the Labour Party through their subscriptions. I would imagine that there are lots of Union members who have no idea that they are subsiding Labour with their personal money ! Write to you Union or ... I think there is a Form on the Internet which you can fill out which you can then send to your Union which will stop any political donations to Labour from your subscriptions. If someone knows the URL please can they advise ?
  2. "It has to be remembered that the previous Labour mantra 'record employment' has not be qualified by the fact that there is MORE people crammed into the UK than compared to 10 years ago and that there is an amazing amount of non-working people in the country. Lies, damned lies and statistics. " The problem for Labour is that this ruse is turning in the opposite direction now and so the expanded population and the hidden unemployment numbers will start to create havoc with the published Govt numbers and the Public finances. Over a cycle, the truth will out.
  3. I would really like to know when the Labour financial funding cork is going to pop. This is a big but an unknown factor.

  5. Good luck to the SNP Labour OUT OUT OUT My scenario for the next year... Gordo is removed in a very messy putsch, probably this autumn. Oily Milliband is installed and then tries to cheat democracy again by saying the people must wait until 2010. The people and journos rise up and he is forced to bring the election forward. Labour lose and the party are financially in meltdown. End of Labour ?
  6. What annoys me in this debate is the attempt to portray the UK petrol pump oil price as an oil suppy issue or generally an international question which Gordon Brown does not have any control over. WHO TAKES AROUND 70% OF THE UK PETROL PUMP FUEL PRICE ? Gordon Brown. NEW or OLD LABOUR just the same old spin.
  7. I tried to start a similar New "labour finances" Topic without luck. My question would be is how much of this news about the labour party finances is real and how much is spin i.e. in order to bring in donors or milk existing donors? Really how serious is the situation for the Party ? How long can Labour go on with their current income stream ? What will happen if the party go bankrupt...is it possible that the liberals become the leading left party in this country ?
  8. Just introducing myself. Have been a HPC 'believer' ! for some time. Live in France but have property interests in the UK. Very sad and angry at the current economic state of the UK. I look forward to speaking with other sane people !
