Andrew Turner, chief executive of Commercial Trust, reveals what is happening behind the scenes which could have an impact on buy-to-let.
The future for buy-to-let mortgage landlord applicants could get a lot tougher in the coming weeks, as new Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) rules around lending money come into effect.

Nice post Andrew.

This is all part of the drip drip against the BTLrs. The next couple of years should be interesting.

I can't think why anyone in the middle class ... who needs to borrow money to invest in a BTL property, would want to do so now. As for those with cash ... a change in Irs or continuation of reduced rent might persuade them not to go down that path.

And of course without continuation of the BTL money whose left to buy, and at what price?
