This has to be wrong too...
EWI: The Fed Is Not In Control: Potent Directors Fallacy
i mean the fed can do what it likes when it likes for as long as it likes ..er right? .... nope wrong:
"It's nearly impossible to find a treatise on macroeconomics that does not assert or assume that the Federal Reserve Board has learned to control both our money and our economy. Many believe that it also possesses immense power to manipulate the stock market. The very idea that it can do these things is false. It is what I call the 'Potent Directors' Fallacy.
In reality -- the Fed has no such power."

Techie, it's good to see you are in a jovial mood today.
I hope you are still watching the Dollar and Gold go in my and the FRs direction. Know the long term agenda!
The Federal Reserve are as Federal as Federal Express and the Morning Star isn't just a candlestick formation.
May I suggest some more homework? Have a fun day!
