World's most inept central bankers?........
Don't you believe it, they have attained more power recently than ever. Their still calling the shots Jack.
The mistake 'small people' make is judging central banks from the peoples point of interest, which is a deeply flawed analysis.
People will find out soon enough just how clever and ruthless they are, if they haven't figured it out already.
$27 trillion and still counting.

I reckon that being the architect of the precursor and steward of the Bank during first run on a UK bank in over 150 years qualifies or Merv pretty well.
