A group of Scotland’s leading businessmen including the publishers DC Thomson have come together to support the expansion of Airdrie Savings Bank, a small Lanarkshire based mutual, with an investment of £10million.

With an IR of 0.035% on £10,000+, they'll have to do at lot better to attract my hard earned pennies. Or
have they got the deciaml places wrong, and it's really a more respectable 3.5% to smash ING off the top spot.

I've got to agree that their interest rates are rubbish and they won't attract my hard earned cash either.
However, they're no worse than most of the parasitic high street banks' offerings and as it's a mutual organisation, I wish them well.
