Yahoo: Mini property boom over amid economy fears
Economists said the housing market is at a turning point, with considerable weakness expected to set in during the next year. The predict prices to drop at much as 15 per cent from the beginning of this year to the end of 2011.
Paul Diggle, property economist at Capital Economics, said: The lack of available credit, weak buyer demand and negative house price expectations among other things, have yet to pass through to sustained house price falls.
