Channel 4 News: Councils abandon plans for 100,000 new homes
The Coalition's answer to falling house prices is to try and reduce housebuilding. Factor in this and the NIMBY's charter of 90% approval needed for new homes and it's clear they'll do anything to try and keep houseprices high and the VIs content.
(This is on Channel 4 News now and is worth watching - if only to see Jon Snow's autocue foul up!)
