The Decline of the West

Counterpunch: Wordless masses

Globalisation has western workers competing with Chinese slaves in overcrowded living spaces working 15-hour shifts. Hence crumbling factories, weak unions and low-paid workers bagging foreign goods or serving trans-fatty fast food in the cities in old industrial regions in the west, where public infrastructure and services decline or get axed. The rich get richer and live well away from the misery while the poor, "dazed, overweight and tatooed", show their defiance by "mutilating themselves and dropping their trousers a few inches" or "hurling racists slurs" at Obama.

Bit rich coming from the alleged 'land of the free' which (unlike China) really did build its early wealth on slavery, and even now incarcerates a stupendously large number of those slaves descendants while oppressing many of the remainder (not least with compulsory sh*it music and equally sh*it food).

Globalisation must be a terrible inconvenience to Americans, whose right to consume a vastly unequal share of the world's resources and pollute the planet is part of the god-given manifest destiny written into the con-sti-chew--shun.

Whingeing toss*ers who deserve all that's coming to them. If we don't wise up the same is on its way here.

The Rupublic Constitution and Bill of Rights is as good as it gets mate (show me something better). The only problem here is that it has

been under attack for many years along with American 'citizens'. Hearts and minds.

A lot of the New World Order agenda has it's roots in Britian. I fear as with many you are out of touch.

Try reading Brave New Word and 1984 to get a better perspective on where we are all heading, most of the infastructure is already in

place if you care to look around you (more subtle than America because we don't have guns)

WW111 and more deadly viruses are on their way. This issue has little to do with the Constitution. These wars are illegal under the

Constitution, if it were not being torn to threads by criminals.

In all fairness, we were pretty god damn awful during our "Brittania rules the waves" phase. Much of our national wealth is down to slavery and 'lo!' it's all run out. Brilliant article in my opinion, sums up the situation comprehensively.

Crunchy,

You should try and get hold of a copy of 'The Sheep Look Up' by John Brunner for the most accuratlely imagined dystopia so far.

Dystopia? Much of what Huxley wrote back in 1932 has come to fruition. Are you going to still wonder whether his BNW is pure science

fiction.

The 'Sheep Look Up' is on my list when I've had a bloody break from trying to understand the minds of the insane ruling Gods that are the

true creators of misery and destruction within 'our' planet.

There is good breeding and there's god breeding. Satans work I'm afraid. Is he sci-fi too. You should know by now shippy.
