Homes up for sale in affluent Prestbury
Metro: England defender Wes Brown puts £4.5million pad up for sale for a farm
I post this not only for it's tabloid value. I happened to drive through Prestbury, Macclesfield, yesterday where the average home costs several £million and couldn't help noticing the staggering number of homes for sale. Every second mansion on the A538 seemed to be up for sale. Any ideas why this may be the case? Why the top end of the market is up for sale in the North West?

a lot of the properties in prestbury have been on sale for a while even going back to 2006 there was a large number..
not sure why unless people trying to get profit before it is too late,
or it could be who wants to live near footballers or sewage works

Or could it be that the chickens are coming home to roost at football clubs - maybe they'll not have their fantastic salaries for much longer?

I do not that buying a farm is a great tax "dodge", or should I say "swerve". The law around this won't change as all the Tories
that run the country have such vehicles in place.
On the matter of properties in the NW; haven't the footballer simpletons up there been conned into BTL portfolios, and now
face considerable losses to make up for ?
