Is this the best we can now hope for? A zombie economy on life support with record low IRs. If confidence falls from here, which (talking to some friends who work in the public sector) seems entirely likely I just can't see which part of the UK economy will drive growth. Apart from those pesky banksters, everyone is getting poorer while our bills mount by the hour. Gulp!
