Balance of power shifts away from landowners
BBC News: Wheel clampers face private land ban
"Wheel clampers are to be banned from operating on private land in England and Wales, the government has said. The legislation, to be introduced in November, will introduce penalties for anyone clamping a vehicle or towing it away on private land."
[Not directly relevant to HPC, but perhaps indicative of this government's future approach to land issues?]

Another plus point for the land-owner- ist. It also means one is fair game if you don't have private land.
Have you payed for your car tax, mot and insurance in these difficult times even if you are not using your vehicle.
The car crusher (Tow Away Tony) wants to know if you can pay the penalty. 'No land, no excuses.' - New York accent.
Some have more rights than others.

Mark, that's a very important statement !!
It is a legal minefield because there is no signed contract between you and the company allowing the fine.
Look up your common law rights :-)
