Less students to rent houses / rooms to
Dailymail: Degree courses could be cut to two years in cost-cutting higher education overhaul
He will argue that condensing three-year degrees into two years will help cut the cost of tuition and maintenance fees for a generation of poor students.
Living at home would reduce the need for students to pay for accommodation and cut living costs dramatically.
