Cameron better stays away from BP oil spill debacle in United States………………..
Telegraph: Barack Obama's grandfather 'tortured by British'
Barack Obama's grandfather 'tortured by British'
Barack Obama’s grandfather was imprisoned and tortured by the British during the violent struggle for Kenyan independence, the Kenyan family of the US President-elect has claimed.
He said they would sometimes squeeze his testicles with parallel metallic rods. They also pierced his nails and buttocks with a sharp pin, with his hands and legs tied together with his head facing down,” she told the paper.

sounds a bit Vicky Pollard......'The Kenyan family of Barack Obama'.....'He said'......then 'she said'.........who said? Not new news and smacks of right wing anti Obama rhetoric. BP is not British Petroleum by the way. The company is known by these two initials, but nobody knows why? I suggest the company becomes the yellow and green insignia, known only by this wholesome image of greenness and sunshine. No sound could be produced to represent the company......a sign of the insignia would have to be produced to indicate that BP is being discussed.

Time to move on BO.

BO the non-event. A sheep in wolf's clothing, empty promise of change, the restless masses pause with curiosity. Like showing a toy to a baby.

Well Obummer and myself have something in common!
My great grandfather was tortured for a year then shot because BP (called The Anglo-Persian Oil Company at the time) put pressure on the Shah of Iran to depose all the regional Khans (Lord/kings of which my great grandfather was one of the main ones) so they could exploit the region for oil found in their territories and in return put full wait behind the Shah making him ruler supreme.
My grandfather had his name changed by his mother and was sent into hiding in Tehran where he lost all his privileges and had numerous assassination attempts on his life from betrayal by his extended family who sold his whereabouts to the Shah's henchmen.
None of the assassins returned alive.....luckily otherwise I would not be here......I never met my grandfather but he apparently killed around 7 men with his hands who were sent to kill him. He lived life to the full and some things must run in the family because he spent all his money on women drugs, fast cars, casinos and like my self ....HE WASTED THE REST (yes I know I have used that line before).
Back to plot.......Go for it Obama!!!!
Give em hell..........I hope BP falls spectacularly

@rtl
Did n't know Vicky Pollard squeezed men's testicles with parallel metal rods.BP was a nationalised company formerly Anglo-Persian oil formed by Winston Churchill to guarantee oil supplies to the British fleet which he decided to convert from coal to oil power. Another silly but dangerous Tory ,Margaret Thatcher sold off our shares in it.
The reference to no sound being produceable to represent the Company is odd.By that logic Standard Oil should have called themselves SO instead of the instantly recognisable ESSO

@Soviet UK 13.
Yes the IRA used to have carnival floats and marches past the world trade centre to raise money for terrorism.....the irony is quite sickening.

The Guantanamo base is actually sovereign Cuban territory which the Americans have on a lease,paying the rents every year. Fidel
locks the cheques in a safe for fear that cashing them will be a tacit admission that the leases are valid while Fidel protests,quite rightly that they were obtained under duress.Presumably Fidel could walk into the base any day on the pretext that the Americans are in breach of their tenancy agreement by torturing people on the premises.He could walk also in without pretext as droves of Cubans throng into the base every day to work.
I was told he did n't do so because he was afraid of being nuked, which must be a consideration, but more to the point that ordinary Cubans needed the comparatively high wages paid by Americans on the base.
