I used to like her years ago but since she rode on the back of the bubble I'm not so sure now and I stopped watching the program years ago because it only ever seems to be full of people with huge budgets being very picky about what they want to buy. As someone who can barely afford a shoe box this does get up my nose rather and I think this is shy she is becoming the girl who we all love to hate.

Property programmes and newspaper articles have always tended to feature properties beyond the reach of most of their viewers/readership. It is at the heart of ramping propaganda. If we are endlessly baited with images of smug profesionals spending £800,000 on 2 bedroom terraces, the £200,000 studio flat may eventually seem cheap enough to justify our voluntary take up of 'bonded labour'.

@Mystie010
I just wish she was relegated to the history books with no media presence at all.
Pointless hating Krusty.......it just increases her profile.
Send her thoughts of love and reflect on her more beautiful moments like errrm........errrrmmm.
Yes well....just try not to think about her.
In fact I will make it my goal in life to not think about Kirsty Allsopp every second of my waking day and reach a higher state of awareness through meditation.
OK deep breath.....and......I am now entering a serene, blissful state....but what is that coming through the heavanly clouds of my inner nirvana.......I can just about make out a woman with a Moustache..........Agggghhhh guys we have got it wrong.....I think she may be the eternal consciousness that sustains all life......
.......either that or an advantageous, untalented, thick monstrosity.

@ righttoleech Yes I think that you are absolutely right, I think that also when you see so many people looking at the bigger properties with bigger budgets it also makes you question why it is that you are not in that club. I often wonder where I went wrong and how so many people seem so rich and have the means to buy such big properties when I don't. Especially as I thought I had done everything right i.e. university educated, good career etc. How did I get it so wrong I would have been better off just speculating on property all those years ago.

@ titaniccaptain - your so funny and you do make me laugh! and I mean this in the nicest possible way, it was the moustache comment that did it for me :-)

The BBC luvvies have remained loyal to this property porn queen, constantly bullying people to "buy now or ... something will happen".
I realise now that it is not the people who are obsessed with Kirstie - she has beomce something of an irrelevance when her hints for adding value to a property consist of a hallway mirror and a lick of paint.
However the media dahlings think she's great and that's why she stays in the public eye.
recaptcha (I just refresh it until it says something appropriate to the article or my comment): "that gout".

Awwww, isn't she lovely, but,
I can't recall Jamie Oliver forcing huge oversized portions on people, scoffing at them if they wanted to eat less and then making them feel anxious because if they didn't eat now then the portions would only get bigger in the future and they'd have to eat more.
"Nobody ever uses it, it's just there", on my passport after I filled it in on the form.
"Because I was unhappy and my mother spoilt me". Would never have guessed.

She says she doesn't like people people rude about her, the st*** f**** b*****.
The comment about Jamie Oliver misses the point completely. Jamie never told people that tomatoes were 'a good investment' or that if they bought sausages they'd get 'capital growth'. There was no trillion pound bubbles in cheese prices that has burst and put us into a major recession. She might as well compare herself with a kid in the playground who sells somebody the packet of crisps out of his lunchbox.
And the comment about litter just shows how completely clueless she is about anything. So, picking up litter costs £780 million a year, allegedly. Well, knock off a third for exaggeration and that works out at less than £10 per person per year each.
I'm happy to pay £10 a year for people to go round picking up litter.

"People are rude. I don't see any need for rudeness. Even when you oppose someone's views in every way, there is no need to be rude."
Fair enough.
"I come from a property nutty family"
Agreed.

More rubbish from the BBC. Do we really pay a licence fee for this junk? It's time the BBC gave us our money back.
