ONE of Britain's oldest shoe stores has collapsed - putting nearly 1,750 jobs at risk.

The sun: Faith Shoes has collapsed

The collapse came as NORTHERN FOODS said it was closing a ready meals factory in Swansea - with the loss of 234 jobs.

I hear that the police had paid upfront for a very large number of boots for officers patrolling the beat. These boots are now unlikely to be delivered.

Chief Constables have asked for urgent talks with the Home Office, as they are now unsure as to who is going to foot the bill.

Mark that was counterbalanced by my daughter just getting a job as a waitress on Sundays in the local pub. Whilst a friend of mine has done an extra shift per week packaging bits of fluff for people who like fluff.
