DavidSmitsss: Don't blame the politicians

sellers have been persuaded to put their properties on the market in the expectation of getting a high price, while those same high prices are, in some cases, deterring buyers

"David Smith: Home Economics"

Home economics - correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that a national curriculum subject where they teach kids to bake cakes...?
Put it on 200 degree celsius Dave and bake it for 30 minutes more...it's come out a bit flat.

Is this Mr D Smith arguing for a fall in prices?

Surely not?

Maybe, in the same way that people on the radio read out a pollen count on a regular basis, there could be an announcement of a sensible purchase price for a 100,000 pound property - according to a formula of income ratio. I choose 100,000 because it is easy to do maths with that number.
Phew! House price crisis averted!

@3

I assume you mean that David Smith, who has proven himself to be not just slow amongst humans - but relatively slow even in a gathering of incredibly slow people, is slowly beginning to wake up?

Well - if he can do it, anyone can. Should we have a sweepstake on whether he is likely to say anything remotely intelligent in 2010?
