I have just taken on board a few of Phil Spencers top tips for adding value - have just added 2 coats of Cuprinol (Brown) to the garden fence and a single coat of ICI weathershield (Black) to the garden gates and hey presto my house has gone up in value by £20k. How Phil's business ever went under is one of lifes true mystery's.

Hi housepricecrash -House prices have risen dramatically in the last 10 years, seemingly beyond the average person's reach. There has been a slow-down which I think is a good thing for many people.

She's even better looking than her sister! And she understands the importance of location. Which must be where I made all my mistakes. I was so focused on houses with nice curtains etc. that i totally forgot about location! I once bought a house in the falls road because it was sunny and they had just made coffee and fresh bread and it was a nice sunny day...but i totally forgot that about that location thingy...! Now, with the help of Sophie, I wont make that mistake again.

Reuters are running a main headline:
"Sterling boosted by opinion polls, housing data". The pound rises if house prices rise...! Don't traders look at the fundamentals anymore? (UK plc owes a fortune which it will take years to repay - houseowners have been tricked into borrowing, taking on huge debts that they can't service even at low rates).
I guess even housing needs celebrities these days - doesn't matter if they have any ideas or even brains!
