Tough questions or HPI white wash ?

Channel4: Ask The Chancellors. A live debate. 8pm

Bear (no pun intended) in mind C4 have significant vested interest in "pwoperty", having contributed to HPI with a spectrum
of property porn TV over the last decade...
"On Monday 29th March Channel 4 will stage a live debate between the would-be Chancellors, Alistair Darling, George Osborne and Vince Cable. Krishnan Guru-Murthy will be asking the tough questions.
From 7pm on the night, we will be hosting a discussion of the debate right here. Send in comments via our widget, or use your Twitter account to get involved. We'll be bringing together your reaction to the event along with responses for our own experts."

This is, perhaps, the most critical day in George Osborne's political career.

If he triumphs tonight, his career will be saved, even if the Tories don't get an overall majority.

If he's demolished by Cable and Darling, he'll be mortally wounded, and there'd be no guarantee that Cameron would give him the chancellor's job, even if the Tories won outright..

- I'm not holding my breath!

... so Al, how come your boss, the then chancellor, [and the FSA] kept ingorning the massive red flags about house
price inflation and the casio finance traded off the back of ever increasing mortages bought by the deluded. I can almost accept he was intoxicated by the tax revenue HPI brings, but did the moron not realise the frenzy would end with the inevitable mess we're
in now, that apparently has "global" roots ? Don't you smerk George, as you lot were making so much capital gains, you kept
the elephant out of the room until it became politically usable. You are both histroy grads, to why don't you both f*ck off to
a non job somewhere else and let Vince run the show, who has been the only beakon of truth in this sorry shower
of sh1te.

Vince Cable could pull these 2 apart. Problem is he speaks common sense and nobody wants to hear it.

No runaway winner IMO - Cable could have done better, Osborne could have done worse..

George was lucky to get the final word, and used the opportunity well..
