Telegraph: Liam Byrne: No new tax rises under Labour
Mr Byrne, who is number two at the Treasury, was asked on BBC Two's Daily Politics show whether the deficit could be halved without more tax rises.

The solution to the problem is touted as public sector pay cuts but that won't be anywhere near enough. Labout has to firesale the banks that its bought and write the difference off instead of trying to use them as a vehicle to somehow reignite the credit boom.

This latest from Labour has about as much credibility as Saddam having WMD. And I don't trust the Tories either.
If the Lib Dem's had Nigel Farage as Shadow Europe Minister, I know how I'd vote...
