Government borrowing less than forecast

Brown Broadcasting Corporation: Government borrowing less than forecast

"Revisions for this financial year have now reduced borrowing by £2.9bn, meaning full-year borrowing could beat the government's £178bn forecast." ....brilliant, government borrows £175.1bn instead of 178.0bn, ...lets get the cocktails in, have a blast, hire a few more quangos, let your hair down!!

Brown Broadcasting Corporation summs it up .

It's as if the Beeb is doing all they can to get these cretins returned to power .

Reporting of the news is about as truthful as reporting of Lancaster Bomber crew losses during The War .

The government are borrowing less, so that they will be able to use the saved money to provide some kind of pre-election giveaway.

Of course, this is good news. Most commentators out there were predicting that the PSBR limit would be broken, and the pound fall to $1.30 or something. For the moment those predictions look unduly pessimistic.

Of course the levels are lower. This is one of the few months, when in usual circumstances, net tax income exceeds expenditure. The BBC reports show once again that there is little thought or understanding from their journalists OR this is yet more political smoke and mirrors from the said organization. Cut and Paste
