Can anyone suggest any more candidates for this?

This is money: North Korea execute finance minister for ruining economy

He may be set to lose his job or even the General Election - but at least Alistair Darling's future is not quite this bleak.
A leading North Korean financial expert has been dragged before a firing squad and shot dead for ruining the country's financial affairs.

If I weren't to fall foul of the law for incitement to murder, I'd put down a few names.

In a Utilitarian world this would be happening!
Could it be that they are followers of Mill and Bentham over there?

The poor man should have followed this site, then he would only have got banged up in jail.

At least, he does not have to worry anymore.

'Richly rewarded' or disappear into the background soon after making bad decisions but, only for the masses.

Death penalty is pretty harsh, but this finance minister was directly responsible for one of the biggest cóck-ups in economic history, his handling of the North Korean currency devaluation was spectacularly inept and caused the deaths of thousands through starvation and suicide

Yes, but those ordering his execution must have had some collective responsibility in signing off his policies. What would we be saying if Brown ordered a Badger cull?

Our political system doesn't allow for a politician to be elected that can actually do some good in this country.

The reason for this is that his first motivation is to get re-elected, which promotes short-terminism. Its the same with bankers who strive to protect the share price of investors for the current year, so they can earn a bonus in the upcoming year.

What's the point in complaining about specific individuals? Anyone elected to the post would make the same choices. The only way forward is to talk about smarter things than blaming politicians or bankers. All this talk of compiling lists is equally distracting and pointless.
