The real story?

Rightmove: 2 Bedroom flat for sale!

So there I was, keepign my finger on the pulse when I came across this place - been on the market for ages - when I had the idea to see what it had been selling for after discovering that an offer of £75,000 had been made. (A reasonable price but no more)
Here is the house

And here is what the land registry says: It doubled in price in four years!

The 67K purchaser probably cleaned it, and put in that awful laminate flooring and cheap kitchen and the let it - then sold it when they found it hard to let (or maybe when they saw what was coming!) in the summer of 06, to a fool who is now desperately trying to offload it (if it's even still 'theirs').

In the early 90s crash large price falls were pretty common. Pretty rare at the moment, I guess due to attempts to prop the market. This may be a bit of a one off as the price fall seems so large, or it could be a fortaste of things to come. The market seems to have got a lot hotter this time around so the falls when they come should reflect that.

51ck-6-51x , it was a new build when sold for £67k and not a flip .

wally , "Pretty rare at the moment" I've seen many falls like this one , if it does actually sell again for £75k .
