Hm, 6 months rule of non-residency applies in all the countries and it is tied in international agreements. Actually if you live more than 6 months in other country you will be taxed there anyway and if you still visit your friends in the UK and have a property sould not mean double taxation by UK.

All taxation is theft anyway.
If, for example, a U.S. citizen lives abroad 100% of the time they still have to pay U.S. taxes on their income, wherever it is generated. (see here) If they live here they must pay UK & US income tax and then claim back US income tax - fun.
