Hometrack: +0.1% MoM, -0.8% YoY
Reuters: House prices fall in Jan
Misleading article title by Reuters, Hometrack actually says prices rose 0.1% in January, and the annual rate of decline eased from 1.9% in December to 0.8% in January.
"Today the proportion of the asking price being achieved is 93.5 percent compared to 88 percent at the start of 2009," said Richard Donnell, director of research at Hometrack.

Hometrack data is based on EA's estimates of achievable asking prices - they don't reflect completed transactions
