BBC 'News': Inflation expected to exceed 3%
Inflationary spike ... medium term predictions ... no need to raise interest rates ... hardworking families need protecting ... we have extensive property portfoilios ... everyone else can go to hell.

WFT! - aren't they supposed to raise rates to combat inflation? Isn't this why house prices went balistic because they kept lowering rates instead of raising them? I give up :(

The BBC have since udated the inflation article under the same link whilst the actual inflation figures are running under the reuters story which I subsequently posted - I suspect this is why paul's post hasnt attracted the comments.
