But low interest rates will create another asset bubble that our children will have to pay for. What politicians do not realize is that the young people are very angry nowadays and they will not consider an achievement stepping on the property ladder and probably they will feel more like they have been blackmailed. In 10 year time the young people will go on the streets and in 20 years we will have a revolution if the assets keep inflating away from them.

There's an election coming up. Whoever is put in place to manage the affairs of this country, as a consequence of that vote, will have twelve months to put policy in place which fairly and squarely addresses the national interest, and ( most importantly) the needs of ALL genuine citizens. Fail in the task and (regardless of increased policing and counter terrorism laws) a new age will be launched in the UK.

Ireland adopted a similar strategy at the last budget. They took money from blind pensioners whilst bailing out the property developers and banks. To sweeten the blow they cut alcohol duty in an attempt to tranquilise the electorate.
