Tell me about it - its carnage out there - there are certain contractors going in for work at cost less 9%, and then knocking everyone down the line---- it is absolutly cut throat. Im an estmator/surveyor by trade, and got made redundent on the 1st December, my governor kept putting 5% on everything and then wondered why we werent winning anything - doh. Too many people chasing the same work! Ive got friends that have been out of work for over a year !
