I think a tickle down, they've been preparing us to expect prices to dip over winter on the promise they continue upward trend in spring. Just ...got... to... get... past... that... election - which I think will be March.

Down -0.4.

Can't see many able to buy, right now - unless parents support the deposits (Essex, near M25).

BtLers locally are selling as tennants move out to cover downward risks on large portfolios. They've made a fair bundle after buying 10 years ago. Time to realise their cash. My relative has just bought a 12 year old semi (against my advice) as a place to live in. Its a real mess inside.

Flat @ 0.0% growth as Gordy would say. You know, down is bad and up sounds ridiculous in these times. Supply increasing, demand and ability to buy/lend reducing. All tells me it will be flat growth. This won't damage Christmas spending but it won't encourage further hysteria. Whose with me?

And you pride yourselves on data analysis to arrive at a prediction for future house price direction?

Anyone else care to grasp at a number?

Maybe we could run a book on it. Experts!
