Does it mean that some of the 1700 misappropriated properties in St Ives will be less viable as second homes/holiday lets...? I hope so.
If 200-300 of these mostly empty properties came back into residential use there be a net increase in year round population of 500+ people living and spending in the town.

Makes me so angry that low interest rates etc have encouraged so many people to hang on to second homes, in the hope that they will increase in value as they should after this annoying little recession is over.
Maybe this will help a little.
