Last our of recession - well done Gordon!
The Guardian: MAnufacturing SLowdown Confounds City
"Coming a day after a return to growth in Canada left Britain as the last G20 economy still in recession"
Does anyone else remember Flash Gordon telling the world that the UK was the best placed nation to recover from recession? Can anyone find the quote anywhere. I cannot remember it ad verbatum but I am sure he said it. Or maybe it was all a big dream?

Sorry to comment on my own post but I just noticed this gem:
""The manufacturing labour market is moving closer to stabilisation," Dobson said."
I just thought of a scene from casualty, where the patient flatlines and imagined the Doctor saying, "great, he's stable!" Lol

It would be interesting to investigate how many of the G20 countries that have pulled out of recession have implemented QE.... Maybe they learned from what happened to Japan when they did it 10 years ago....

Brown's selling point to the clueless voters is that there are simple, pain free, ways into renewed prosperity. Lie.

"Manufacturing slowdown confounds City"
No sh*t Sherlock, it doesn't take much to confound the City. Since when have the "expert's" forecasts proved correct?
They're an absolute waste of space, I wouldn't p*ss on them if they went up in smoke.
