Um returning immigrants is a nice headline for labour but the real concern is highly trained professionals leaving for better prospects and a far higher standard of living. I personally know of at least 10 or so such friends who've packed the uk in over the last few years. Has anyone got any figures on this huge brain drain?

It's not the Brain Drain" we need to worry so much about! It's the "Financial Drain" due to the huge number staying because the BENEFIT SYSTEM makes them better off than going anywhere else in the world!!

The news article seems to concentrate on now lower net migration figure, rather than the cause which is an exodus while immigration remains unchanged.
