Politicians notice numerous people in London.
Guardian: Boris: backsliding on housing
"Boris Johnson is calling on the government to tackle overcrowding in London – a problem which has serious implications for the health and wellbeing of hundreds of thousands of Londoners". Or we can pile in a few more new builds.

It's not exactly surprising how small UK houses are,given the artifical scarcity of land induced by the market.But Google Demographia Australia and USA have largest houses to see how cramped they are.Our houses are smallest in old 15-state Europe;getting ,relatively, smaller (30% down on 1920's);only 15% bigger than all those standardised flats built in the DDR etc.
