Guardian: British banks quizzed by regulators on exposure to Dubai crisis
In the unlikely case that the FSA asks a difficult question, I wonder if the banks can phone a friend?

And I suspect the friend they will phone will be Gordon Brown. "Gordon will the tax payer fund another bail out? Oh and will they still pay us that mega bonus? LOL....FSA asking...how much are you in the hole for...After the event!... yet again! (Regulators?)
Banks Answer. Not much....but the majority share holders (AKA THE UK TAX PAYER) might not like it much!
