US deficit triples to record high of $1.4 trillion
The Hindustan Times: US deficit triples to record high of $1.4 trillion
The US federal budget deficit tripled to about $1.4 trillion for fiscal year 2009 in the midst of the worst economic decline since the Great Depression, the office that keeps track of spending for Congress said on Wednesday.
The figure represented about 9.9 per cent of gross domestic product (GDP), the highest percentage since 1945, the Congressional Budget Office said in a statement.
In 2008, the deficit was only 3.2 per cent of GDP.

Crunchy Is that for the benefit of me or one of your other personalities?....I am going to leave it there and I wish all of the collective "you" the best but please stop attacking people when the full moon is out.....I really wish you no ill....honestly....but sometimes you go a little too far...I have defended you on numerous occasions but this is getting silly.....lets just leave it there.

"I am going to leave it there"
That's the wisest thing you have said all day. I think it's a shame devo is keeping out of this but he most probably has your profile
worked out and would not want to add fuel to the fire. Little professor used the same technique himself but I am pleased to see him
growing out of it. It is after all a lazy man's way to try and shut someone up and confuse the issue.
I said earlier that your Mother has my sympathy. I would now like to extend that feeling to you also in view of your statements above.
