UK borrowers might soon face even higher mortgage fees than they do now as the new FSA intentions will definitely cost lenders a fortune.
Previously, a number of UK lenders have already been accused of setting up high application fees that oftentimes amounted to £1,000; however, mortgage brokers are determined that in future lenders will further increase these fees as the checks, including affordability tests, spending habits, and income levels, proposed by the FSA, will cost banks and building societies a lot of money.
