You know what happened this weekend??
Cnn: Five more banks failed
Five small regional banks were closed by regulators on Friday evening, pushing 2009's tally so far to 89 institutions. Of the five failures, two were in Illinois, and there was one each in Arizona, Iowa and Missouri.

Blimey, 89 banks go bust in the US, the UK is 9 months behind and so our state controlled media purrs about green shoots.
Thank goodness those with a modicum of mental wherewithal can find news outside of the fantasy bubble, but pity Auntie-watching sleepwalkers.
Top tip: get rid of the telly. You'll be amazed what it does for you. No, seriously, try it. I've managed over half a decade without one and it's been great. You can buy the good stuff on DVD for less that the price of a license and for the rest, not soaking it up makes room in your head for sane thoughts.
You may think it's extreme, you may think it's a bit nuts, but whatever you think, think about what you are shaping your mind with; it is, after all an important question.
