Who is going to create the "decent" jobs? How do you create a "decent" job. Well intentioned but unfortunately you will not find the answers with people living in cloud cuckoo land.

Mandelson said "ministers want to be wise spenders, not big spenders"

Bit late for that isn't it?

The solution does not lie in the public sector. That has to contract.

To balance the current budget deficit, taxes would have to rise by more than £7,000 per household - vastly more than can possibly be contemplated through increased taxation, so the public sector must be cut severely

Radical incentives need to be deployed to get the private sector to create jobs - cutting the constraints on the construction industry, neutralising the health and safety tyranny, giving sole traders a real incentive to take on an apprentice, and a ready willingness to defy europe where necessary.

When has the Labour party ever created productive employment, or even provided the environment for such?

All they have ever done is fill offices with desks and people that obstruct 'creation' of any type and have provided almost daily, new legislation that makes it all but impossible to even think about starting a manufacturing or construction company.

It seems that the labour party (and others) are only capable of micromanagment, spin, lies and kleptocracy.
